Touch the stars at the Toronto Film Festival

Everybody who’s anybody in the film industry is visiting Canada at the moment. The Toronto International Film Festival or TIFF is held annually in each September on the other side of the Niagara Falls.

Hundreds of films are presented on every available screen in town and more than 300,000 film buffs, movie critics, industry hotshots and glamorous celebrities are attending the festival which will continue until the end of this week.

You can find all the usual star dust in the TIFF including a bunch of red carpets, beautiful dresses, star talks and a glimpse of what’s going to happen in cinema in the near future.

This year, the festival opened with a screening of a Darwin biopic flick starring Paul Bettany and among the festival highlights are Jason Reitman’s follow-up to his Juno success with George Clooney in the leading role.

Tickets are still available to many of the screenings and if you’re looking for a quick, glittering getaway, the Toronto International Film Festival is a sure hit.
